Do I need a referral?

No. Chiropractors, TCM practitioners, Naturopaths and Myotherapists' are all primary health care practitioners so you don't need a referral from your GP. Many clients are referred from other health professionals to Auburn Chiropractic Centre and we make a special effort to work alongside them to achieve the best results for YOU.

How does N.I.S work?

N.I.S. is a form of kinesiology treatment that allows us to assess/ treat neurological meridians in the body. N.I.S. is based on muscle testing and integration to locate and correct interference to your nervous system therefore allowing for the relief of symptoms.

What is Chiropractic?

To understand the basic concept of Chiropractic it is essential to know how the Nervous System works. The Nervous System is made up of your brain, spinal cord, and the nerves that exit your spine to innervate muscles, organs and glands. This is the way your brain communicates to the rest of your body. The practice of Chiropractic focuses on removing any interference to the Nervous System, therefore allowing your body to heal itself. The Chiropractors at Auburn Chiropractic Centre remove interference to the Nervous System via the Neurological Integrative System (N.I.S.) technique, Soft tissue techniques and Manual adjustments and/or Activator Method.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is one of the oldest systems of medicine. It is based on the belief that physical and mental issues results from blockage or imbalance of Qi. TCM practitioners uses acupuncture, cupping, massage, herbal Medicine, lifestyle & dietary advise to aid with these imbalances. Appointments includes a full Chinese Medicine diagnostic treatment, where underlying patterns are treated holistically according to the signs and symptoms presented by the patient.
